EDU-RISE
This course teaches you Learning Analytics: what it is, why it matters, its core concepts and methods, its benefits for teachers and learners, and points to watch out for. It ends with a capstone unit where you design your own blended course. After a short introduction, the 6 remaining units are split into two blocks: 3 units in Free mode, where you choose the order and pace yourself with no prompting, and 3 different units in Adaptive mode, where the system follows your progress and adjusts questions, feedback and suggestions as you go. You will experience both approaches directly, on different content, so you can compare them for yourself. The course ends with an assessment and a survey about your experience. On completion, you receive a signed Open Badge 3.0 digital credential that you can download or add directly to your LinkedIn profile.
Estimated total time: about 2 hours, including around 67 minutes of video (units, intro and closing), the final check and two short surveys.
